Precision Environments, Inc. offers Preventative Maintenance Agreements to customers domestically and internationally. Preventative Maintenance Agreements can be structured to the customer’s individual needs. These agreements can be very comprehensive or provide minimal service. The extent of the Preventative Maintenance agreements structure usually depends on lab utilization and its operational importance to the business or research. PM agreements insure the environmental performance of the lab while extending the life expectancy of mechanical equipment. We also assist with capital planning and budgeting in this process.
Mechanical systems serving our projects are usually very specialized. The system configurations and operation can be outside the competency of conventional service technicians. Precision Environments, Inc. specialists have been specifically trained in servicing complex mechanical and control systems. Additionally, Precision Environments, Inc. service specialists understand the science conducted in the lab environment. Mechanical system maintenance is usually conducted on quarterly or bi-monthly intervals. Comprehensive laboratory maintenance is performed four times per year with thorough inspections during other monthly interval service visits. Our specialists are experts in servicing the following equipment as designed in our projects:

- Laboratory recertification
Laboratory recertification is included in all PM agreements. Precision Environments Inc. is ISO 17025 accredited for procedures implemented in seven lab environment tests. Tests are compliant with recommendations included in NCSL RP 16. The seven tests are the most widely utilized tests conducted to verify lab environments. Other tests required outside Precision Environments’ scope of accreditation are conducted by Precision Environments, the customer or a subcontractor. Permanently installed lab sensors will drift over time. As part of the recertification process Precision Environments Inc. calibrates lab sensors and sensors installed in the mechanical system. Precision Environments Inc. is ISO 17025 accredited to calibrate temperature and humidity sensors in your lab.
Precision Environments Inc. specialists prepare a ISO 17025 compliant report and certificate that is submitted to the customer at the conclusion of the service visit. In addition a service log is maintained on site that documents all service activities conducted during each service visit.
