Stephen E. Dirks Appointment to COO

Precision Environments is excited to announce the appointment of Stephen E. Dirks as its new Chief Operating Officer. With a wealth of experience spanning consulting, design, construction, and real estate development, Dirks brings a 360 view of design build projects. His impressive portfolio includes successful cleanroom and dry room projects, expertly integrating mechanical systems and process piping for semiconductor, L-Ion battery, and life science sectors.

Throughout his career, Dirks has excelled at initiating, growing, and optimizing businesses, with a steadfast commitment to process documentation and improvement. His ability to make processes repeatable has been a hallmark of his success. An active member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and the US National Science Foundation’s Broadening Participation in Engineering (BPE) program, Dirks is poised to drive Precision Environments to new heights.

As Precision Environments continues to grow, Dirks will focus on expanding the company’s project life cycle to surpass client expectations while maintaining the exceptional experiences Precision’s clients have come to expect.

After working alongside Precision Environments on a large nationally recognized project, Dirks was interested in joining Precision Environments based on his personal experience working with the team. Coupled with its past 35 years of performance excellence, amazing foundation of staff and culture, cache of extremely satisfied clients, and new ownership focused on supporting manufacturers reliant on critical environments, he was keen to join the organization. “I’m drawn to Precision because they engage in very interesting projects with incredible clients who are working on changing the world, one invention at a time.”

Precision Environments’ Donation to CAIN Rainbow Choice Food Pantry

On June 3, 2024, employees from Precision Environments delivered a monetary donation and 2 SUV loads of breakfast bars and cereal, microwavable meals and soups, and juices to the Churches Active in Northside’s (CAIN) Rainbow Choice Food Pantry on Hamilton Avenue in Northside. The food will be distributed to the unhoused and to children who don’t have access to regular meals due to school being out for the summer. Precision Environments’ organizer, Beth Clark, commented, “We do our food drive at this time of year since most people do it around Thanksgiving and Christmas. These items are needed all year round.”
